Support Our Life and Ministry

“Remember those who bring offerings and perform good deeds in Your holy churches.”

-Anaphora, Divine Liturgy of Our Father Among the Saints, John Chrysostom

Liturgy 2

Please support our life and ministry here at the Byzantine Catholic Cultural Center and Nathanael House.

The Byzantine Catholic Cultural Center coordinates and facilitates the education, formation, and evangelization activity of the universal Church in the Eparchy of Parma.  Under the guidance and direction of the local bishop, the Center enables the Eparchy to participate in the Church’s mission through planning and programming on both the eparchial and local levels.

Nathanael House is a Byzantine Catholic Community for men eighteen to thirty-five years of age, seeking to live together to support one another in discerning God’s call for their lives through corporate prayer, reflection, work, and service.

Both Nathanael House and the Byzantine Catholic Cultural Center receive support from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Catholic Home Missions Fund, but we require additional finances to meet our daily needs.

Whether or not you are able to make a financial contribution at this time, we ask that you remember our community and our ministry in your prayers.

Your generosity and financial support enable us to continue our liturgical prayer, faith formation activities, community outreach, and vocational promotion and discernment experiences.

We appreciate all financial gifts, regardless of the dollar amount.   We commemorate all donors at our Divine Liturgy:  “May the Lord God remember in His Kingdom the noble and ever-memorable benefactors of this holy church” (commemorations at the Great Entrance, Divine Liturgy of Our Father Among the Saints, John Chrysostom).

A NEW look for the corner of 14th and Kennilworth in Tremont!

Please support our comprehensive redevelopment plan for the Holy Ghost property.

The Byzantine Catholic Cultural Center at Holy Ghost Church combines the best of Tremont Culture, Cleveland Culture, and modern American Culture, in an unprecedented, faith-based community center that unites the mission of the Catholic Church and the mission of the local Tremont Neighborhood.

The extensive redevelopment plan for this eparchial property located in the heart of Tremont’s historic district will allow it to serve as the home for four distinct entities with a single mission:

  1. The Shrine of the Martyrs at Holy Ghost Church
  2. Nathanael House Men’s Discernment Community
  3. The Byzantine Catholic Cultural Center Gallery
  4. Cornerstone Café, which will house the Byzantine Catholic Cultural Center Gallery

Together, these four distinct entities promote the culture of life as proclaimed and lived by Jesus Christ; celebrate those Christian cultures rooted in Constantinople; and promote those elements of contemporary culture consistent with the Gospel message as lived by Byzantine Christianity.

Our comprehensive redevelopment plan overview, Bringing Faith to Life in Tremont, as well as our video, To Make All Things New, outline our overall  vision.  His Grace, Bishop John M. Kudrick, and the Byzantine Catholic Cultural Center Community sincerely hope that you will help us make this vision a reality.
